    One Nature LLC is seeking a Senior Associate to lead and support environmentally focused construction projects. This full-time, salaried position is eligible for all standard employee benefits and primarily involves overseeing and participating in construction, nursery, and consulting activities, as well as business development and operations.


    Responsibilities


    The Senior Associate will primarily:

    • Manage and lead construction of landscape projects according to vision, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with One Nature’s artistic and quality standards.

    • Manage and participate with seasonal crew members on a wide range of tasks, including, but not limited to:

      • Carpentry: Custom fences, gates, raised beds, decks, stairs

      • Stonework: Walkways, patios, steps

      • Earthwork: Trail building, swales, rain gardens, berms

      • Planting: Installations, invasive species removal, soil preparation

    • Safely operate and maintain various tools and machinery (e.g., chainsaws, circular saws, drills, chop saws, mini skid steers, walk-behind tractors, etc.).

    • Instruct crew members on proper, safe use of hand tools, power tools, and light equipment.

    • Take responsibility for sub-tasks on large-scale projects under the direction of senior management.

    • Coordinate with leadership regarding staffing, tools, vehicles, and project logistics.

    • Manage material procurement, track expenses, monitor employee hours, and maintain budgetary oversight.

    • Participate in project planning, team meetings, and client communications.

    • Ensure compliance with company standards for safety and professionalism on job sites.

    • Provide support in stewardship, consulting, and nursery tasks, and general small business tasks as needed.

    Qualifications


    The ideal candidate will have:

    • At least four years of full-time experience directly related to our work, including at least 24 months of full-time construction experience.

    • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and light machinery.

    • Basic skills in carpentry and masonry.

    • Physical ability to perform strenuous work in various weather conditions.

    • Ability to tow a trailer and safely operate work vehicles.

    • Plant identification and horticultural knowledge.

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

    • Capacity to work independently and make sound decisions.

    One Nature LLC is seeking an Associate to support the implementation of environmentally focused construction and landscape projects. The role involves assisting senior staff and crew leads in coordinating and executing ecological construction work throughout the Hudson Valley and surrounding regions.


    Responsibilities


    The Associate will:

    • Assist with the execution of landscape construction projects in alignment with project designs, schedules, and budgets.

    • Work closely with crews, under limited guidance from senior staff, to ensure project quality and One Nature’s design and aesthetic standards.

    • Support field crews in tasks including:

      • Carpentry: Raised beds, fencing, stairs, decks

      • Earthwork: Swales, berms, trail work, rain gardens

    Qualifications

    One Nature LLC is hiring Field Crew Laborers to support environmentally focused landscape construction and ecological restoration projects. This is an hourly, field-based position ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and are passionate about sustainability, craftsmanship, and working in natural environments.


    Position Overview


    Field Crew Laborers work as part of a small, skilled team to implement high-quality landscape construction projects. Projects are located throughout the Hudson Valley and may include residential gardens, habitat restoration, public trails, rain gardens, stone patios, and native plant installations.


    This position is seasonal with potential for year-round employment based on performance and business needs.


    Primary Responsibilities

    • Perform physical labor on a variety of construction and planting projects, including:

      • Carpentry: Fence installation, raised beds, basic framing

      • Stonework: Laying walkways, patios, and steps

      • Earthwork: Trail building, grading, berms, swales

      • Planting: Installing trees, shrubs, perennials, soil prep, mulching

    • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively (e.g., shovels, rakes, drills, saws).

    • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.

    • Follow directions from crew leaders and project managers.

    One Nature LLC is seeking an Entry-Level Design & Ecology Assistant to support our studio, ecological restoration, and sustainable construction teams. This hourly, field-and-office-based position is ideal for individuals beginning their careers in landscape design, restoration ecology, or related fields who are eager to gain hands-on experience with real-world ecological projects. Must have AutoCAD experience.


    Position Overview

    The Design & Ecology Assistant will help with the planning and implementation of projects ranging from native landscape installations and habitat restoration to green infrastructure and ecological design-build. This role includes both field work and office-based tasks and offers a unique opportunity to work closely with artists, designers, and restoration professionals.

    This is a seasonal position with the potential for year-round employment and professional growth.


    Primary Responsibilities

    • Assist with site preparation and field layout for restoration and landscape design projects.

    • Support planting, invasive species removal, erosion control, and site monitoring.\

    • Collect field data such as soil conditions, plant health, and site features for use in design and planning.

    • Help create or edit maps, model building, and non-professional drawings using hand-drawing or software (as skills allow).

    • Collaborate with design staff on research, plant sourcing, and material selections.

    • Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and permit documentation.

    • Maintain detailed project records and support data entry, photography, and file organization.

    • Participate in stewardship, nursery work, and client site visits as needed.

    Qualifications
