Seeking a new addition to our artist/scientist team. We are a small social entrepreneurship that thrives on interdisciplinary collaboration to realize landscape-scale projects such as gardens, parks, playgrounds, and habitat creation. The ideal candidate for this position is an action-forward individual that enjoys plants, is highly creative, and wants to make social change in a team setting.
Design Experience (such as architecture, sculpture, furniture, printmaking, industrial design, etc)
Ability to work physically in the outdoors, often lifting up to 50 pounds by yourself repeatedly or hiking several miles to perform field work
Adobe creative suite
Knowledge and interest in the art world
Flexible schedule to accommodate night and weekend meetings
Proficient in word and excel
Reliable vehicle access
Pay: f/t Hourly DOE through 2019, possibility to extend to salaried position after six months.
Other qualifications of interest but not required:
Some experience with fabrication (metal, stone, woodworking, etc)
Autocad, GIS, SketchUP or other software related to architectural design
Construction/home improvement type experience

P/T Studio Manager Position
Duties include administration, assistance with proposals, general business development activities, squarespace and social media maintanance, scheduling, payroll, limited purchasing and receiving, and event coordination. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
-prior experience in galleries, retail, or sales
-proficient in word, excel, Mailchimp, squarespace, and adobe creative suite
-reliable transportation and smart phone
-occasional night and weekend assistance for events and presentations
Additional experience desired but not required:
-horticultural or landscape
-knowledge of art history and architecture
-good graphic design instincts
-interested in occasional outdoor work at our plant nursery
16-24hrs a week
Pay is hourly DOE
