Participants will leave with the skills to plant out fall & winter successions in the garden this year, and ideas for a garden building projects in the future.

Sarah Simon has been farming for the past four years at Common Ground Farm in Beacon, NY, where she is the Farm Director. Before moving to the Hudson Valley, she apprenticed on a farm in Maine that used creative season extension strategies to mitigate the very short growing season. Geeking out about soil science and creative small scale growing strategies is her favorite part of farming!
